A tragic event has occurred in Clifton as former New York Giants player Korey Cunningham has been found deceased in the residence he occupied on Riverwalk Way.
Ex-Giants running back Saquon Barkley exclaimed on X, ‘Oh my gosh.’ Former Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh stated that Cunningham maintained contact with the team after being let go. Pugh wrote on X that they would regularly invite him to the OL dinner every week, despite the fact that he wasn’t part of the team, something that never occurs. Only players on the team are allowed to attend team dinners.

Korey Cunnigham Career:
Korey Cunnigham was selected by Arizona in the 2018 NFL draft. He was selected as the 36th pick in the seventh round, the 254th overall pick in the draft, and was the Cardinals’ last pick of the draft.
He ended his career by playing in 24 consecutive games as the starting left tackle and made a total of 33 appearances throughout his career. He was a key player in an offensive line that allowed fewer sacks compared to the previous year, placing them in the upper half of the league.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in health education in April 2017 and took home the Bearcats’ Jim Kelly Spirit Award at the team’s postseason senior awards banquet.
On Instagram, he described himself as a “shy person” but those who knew him, such as reporter Jordan Raanan, said he was “upbeat” and a “fun guy.” Following Korey’s death, numerous NFL players used social media to express love for the deceased player and offer support to his family.

The Cincinnati football team also expressed their condolences for X, citing Korey’s leadership as a @GoBearcatsFB captain, great work ethic, and lovely personality. The RLS Media team observed individuals, thought to be family members, gathering outside the residence in a state of visible distress, feeling deeply about the absence of Cunningham at the scene.
