Mica Miller Obituary – Is Mica Miller’s death a ‘Suicide’? Death of Pastor’s Wife Shakes Community of Wichita – Latest Update May 2024
Mica Acacia Miller died at the age of 30 on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Miller’s body was discovered Saturday at Lumber River State Park, approximately 70 miles north of the Solid Rock Church in Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The pastor gave his regular sermon on Sunday before breaking the news of his wife’s death. On Sunday, he informed his followers that her passing was a result of her actions, stating that she was struggling with her mental health and required difficult-to-access medication. He never spoke the name of Mica Miller.
“She had previously battled with thoughts of suicide,” mentioned John-Paul Miller. Every time we assisted her and brought her to the doctor, we successfully navigated the situation and everything turned out well. She also shared some testimonies in church that we recorded on video.
Who was Mica Miller?
Mica Miller was born on March 7, 1994, in Wichita, Kansas USA. She was the daughter of Michael Francis and Angelita Ramirez. The obituary describes Mica as lively, positive, bold, strong, caring, generous, understanding, skilled, joyful, innovative, confident, fearless, resolute, commanding, enthusiastic, industrious, daring, and many other qualities.
She and John-Paul became friends in 2009, got married in 2017, and have shared nearly every day and night. A little over a week ago, she had shared pictures of her ocean baptism, tagging a South Carolina church different from her husband’s. And on March 22, she uploaded a video where she talked about “escaping from a risky circumstance.”
How did Mica Miller Die?
The Facebook page Voices in the Wilderness, reportedly managed by Miller’s mother, has been posting regularly following her passing. Her mother mentioned that a restraining order and divorce papers were filed shortly before this heartbreaking event, causing profound grief. Sierra Francis, Miller’s sister, warned people on Facebook against believing lies about her sibling and revealed that they had experienced abuse.
The sheriff’s office verified that Miller passed away over the weekend at Lumber River State Park in the Orrum community of Robeson County. He claimed she died by suicide but the authorities have not confirmed the cause of death. McLean mentioned that they intend to provide more details about the death investigation in the next few days.
According to court records, Mica Miller filed for divorce from her husband in October 2023 after the pastor claimed that he and his wife spent hours every night just talking.
The case was dismissed in February, but just a few days after that, John-Paul Miller filed for “separate support and maintenance,” requesting financial support while the pair remained legally married.
Mica Miller also requested “separate support and maintenance” in April, with a hearing set for June 5.
Her family is demanding “#JUSTICEFORMICA” as they allege that a no-contact order and divorce were instigated in the days leading up to her passing, as reported by the Robesonian.
The funeral for Mica will take place at Solid Rock at Market Common on Howard Ave in Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Friends are welcome to visit the family right after the service.
