Who is Rico Wade?
He was born in a family of an American song-writer and record-producer from East-Point, Georgia. Rico is a member of the well-known Atlanta production team Organized-noize, who has produced hits for artists like Out-kast, Goodie Mob, and TLC.
He was a founding member of the Dungeon-Family. He also helped produce several iconic albums that helped launch the careers of stars like Out-Kast, Goodie-Mob, and Cee-Lo-Green.
Wade’s family announced his death on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, but gave no details. Wade played a key role in OutKast’s 1994 debut album Southern-playalist-icadillac-muzik and its follow-up ATLiens, as well as Goodie-Mob’s Soul Food, which featured Green, in 1996.
Wade established himself as a prominent figure in the hip-hop scene when he, along with Ray-Murray and Patrick-Brown, who is also known as Sleepy, came together to create the Atlanta-based production group Organized-Noize in the early 1990s, as documented in “The Art of Organized-Noize.”
